Els will be heading for South Africa in December, but only for leisure purposes and the opportunity to test new equipment ahead of next year's changes in golf balls and grooves.
31/03/2009 - Louis Oosthuizen set for Masters Debut
Courtesy of his climb into the top-50 in the Official World Golf Ranking, 26-year old South African Louis Oosthuizen has qualified to make his Masters’ debut next week. In so doing he becomes the first former member of the Ernie Els & Fancourt Foundation to play in the Masters.
16/10/2008 - Wentworth's West Course to get new greens
Following on from the modernisation and refinements under guidance of Ernie Els in 2006, Wentworth now has the opportunity to reconstruct and modernise all the greens on the West Course to a USGA specification replacing the current poa greens with colonial bent grass.
29/09/2008 - Callaway fundraiser for Autism Speaks
To coincide with the launch of the FT-iQ Driver, Callaway Golf’s longest and straightest ever driver produced, competitors at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship will have the opportunity to tee it up at the 18th hole during their practice rounds, knowing that every yard they hit the ball will raise money for Autism Speaks, a charity close to the heart of Callaway Golf Staff Professional Ernie Els and his family.

Reclamation at the Multi Billion Dollar world class Marina came to an end last week. Durrat Marina continues to make waves in the region as it has attracted mid and high income citizens from across the region to invest and buy homes on the Marina of luxury living, located on the resort island of Durrat Al Bahrain where there will also be an Ernie Els designed golf course.

Phoenix, Arizona - Daphne's Headcovers, the original headcover company, announced they will join Ernie Els in support of the Ernie Els & Fancourt Foundation by donating a portion of proceeds from the sales of their Lion headcover which has been a fixture in Els’ bag for a number of years.
