Pick ’n Pay has been South Africa’s leading supermarket chain for more than 40 years. The family owned chain has more than 180 supermarkets and hypermarkets throughout South Africa, as well as more than 150 franchised stores in South Africa and neighbouring regions.

Its founder Raymond Ackerman is a keen golfer who has been a great supporter of golf and golf development over the years. In addition to being a partner of the Ernie Els & Fancourt Foundation through Pick ’n Pay, Ackerman also funds a development programme at his local golf club, Clovelly Golf Club in Cape Town.
