Emmaus 
Emmaus is a protected workshop with hostel facilities for handicapped adults. “The place of hope,” Emmaus is partly state subsidized and affiliated with the National Council for Mental Health. Emmaus offers accommodation and therapeutic work to self-supportive handicapped people over the age of 18 years who are unable to work on the open labour market. Day workers from the local community are also accommodated by them. Emmaus is based in George, South Africa.
