Piet Pieters, Executive Vice President
Piet Pieters is Executive Vice President for New Business Development and recently relocated back to the US; he joined the company in 2007 after a 25-year career in the hospitality and golf industry.
Among Piet's previous high profile engagements were serving as Director of the Vail Metropolitan District in Vail, Colorado. During that time he was on the Vail Task Force & Special Events Committee, helping fulfill its goal to become and remain the number one ski resort in North America. It also became the first golf course in Colorado to receive Audubon certification. Piet previously also managed the Aria Health and Spa, nominated as one of the Top-10 facilities in the United States by Conde Nast magazine.
More recently, Piet opened and subsequently managed Oubaai Golf Club, the first Ernie Els Signature course to be constructed in South Africa.
