David Lee

David Lee is the company’s Regional Director for the Far East, ensuring the smooth delivery of current projects, developing new relationships with clients in the region and also ensuring the Els Experience is upheld at all current Ernie Els Design projects in the region.

David holds a Masters degree in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor degree in Economics/Mathematics from the University of California in LA. He brings over 10 years of experience in golf and more than 20 years of international business background to the role.

He started his career in the golf industry in the 1990s at the Golf Channel in the US. Eventually, David returned to his place of birth Asia, as the lead Chinese golf commentator for Asia's foremost sports network, ESPN Star Sports. In the past five years, he has lived and worked in Shanghai while establishing himself as one of the most prominent figures in China’s booming golf industry. David also runs his own successful golf consulting firm, Golf Central Ltd.
