The Els Club, Dubai
The Els Club Dubai is part of the extraordinary, $3 billion Dubai Sports City, a sports-lover's dream. This Ernie Els signature golf course is a ‘desert links' with a natural look and feel; in essence, a combination of a links golf course and traditional ‘classical era' design. It features broad and gently rolling fairways, steep greenside bunkers, grassy swales and imaginatively designed greens.
The putting surfaces are fine-textured Bermuda grass, conducive to maintaining smooth, fast greens that are a joy to putt on all year round. The course measures 7,538 yards from the tips, although in all there are five sets of tees allowing players of all standards a selection of different lengths in order to enjoy this great course to the full.
