This Ernie Els signature design forms part of the prestigious new world-class Hoakalei Country Club that is being built next to beautiful Ocean Pointe, Ewa Beach, about 20 minutes from Honolulu. It is O‘ahu’s only resort-based country club.

Hoakalei was officially opened for play by Ernie Els on 12 January 2009 and was voted one of the best new golf courses of the year by the prestigious Links magazine in the US. This spectacular golf course truly reflects the scenic splendour of O’ahu, featuring beautifully landscaped and manicured conditions with hundreds of Palm, Kiawe and Hala trees, all framed with native grasslands.

The course blends in beautifully with a 248-acre plot which follows the natural landscape to the Ewa coastline, offering expansive vistas of the cherished Ewa plains and the legendary surf bathed in sunshine.
