Cape Verde Islands

The Cape Verde Islands is a group of 10 islands some 300 miles off the north-west coast of Africa, each blessed with glorious stretches of white sandy beaches and a wonderful and temperate climate.

This project, by Cape Verde Development in collaboration with PGA Golf Management, will initially focus on two resorts; Calheta Bay on Sal Island, and Baia das Gatas on Sao Vicente. There will be 36 holes on each site. The Cape Verde Development deal also encompasses real estate development and tour branding, with Ernie sporting the Cape Verde Development name and logo on his sleeve.

Status: We anticipate construction to begin Spring 2009; courses should be open for play by the end of 2010
